Tis the season to settle into crafts and do things that warm the heart for the next couple of seasons.
Between my classes and work schedule, I have been filling my time with friendly excursions, and being as creative as possible... whether that be....
Making Delicious Kale Chips for my study breaks...
Making homemade granola for my quick morning out of the house...
7 c rolled oats
1/2 c veg oil (grapeseed)
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c nuts or dried fruit (optional)
1 c honey
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
oven to 375*
coat the oats with the oil and salt. bake on a large cookie sheet covered with foil or parchment 20 - 25 minutes, checking frequently and stirring them, until they are a light golden brown.
lower the oven to 300*
in a large bowl cover the toasted oats with the rest of the ingredients and press flat on the cookie sheet. bake 35 - 40 more minutes. let cool 10 - 15 minutes before cutting into bars, but don't wait longer than that or they will be too crunchy to easily slice.
enjoy!

Or Also taking 3 weeks of guitar lessons,
which have left me a little confused, but I am definitely learning :)
(Right now I am practicing "House of The Rising Sun" and "Let it Be")
I hope all of you are having a good transition into fall!
Love Britt
